ISS Company Report | Institutional Shareholder Services.

We present interesting conclusions about investors' perspectives on global environmental and social issues collected in the company's latest report ISS | Institutional Shareholder Services.

✅ Investors expect greater coherence on environmental and social issues, especially in the areas of climate policy, biodiversity and human rights.

✅ 75% of investors support a “double materiality” approach, which includes the company's impact on the environment and society. The opinions that this impact affects the financial results of the company are investigated.

✅ Only 6% of investors surveyed supported limiting materiality assessment to financial factors only.

✅ 75% of investors are negative about the lack of data on the activities of companies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The study shows that strict disclosure requirements on risks and environmental and social impacts are essential for investors to properly assess companies' performance and risks.

Improving the quality and availability of sustainability information will lead to more sound investment decisions

And that's what investors expect. 👍
