Especially the financial market. We promote knowledge and carry out research and analysis in the field of sustainable finance and ESG. We help you understand legal regulations and agree them with national and European public administrations.

What does POLSIF do?

Creating a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience

Developing standards and best practices

Preparation of analyzes and reports

Conducting educational activities

Representation of the industry

Initiation of international cooperation

What makes us different?

Unique expertise — ordinary members and members
POLSIF Programme Councils are recognized experts in the field of sustainable finance and ESG, active in the Polish environment
and international.

Credibility and industry pragmatics — we have experience
and we work in the financial market — we understand the specifics of financial and investment institutions, which is why we know what the key challenges are and how to face them.

Ambition — we have the potential and readiness to be the most professional, representative and comprehensive organization working for the development of sustainable finance
and investments in Poland, bringing together representatives of different segments of the Polish financial market.

Openness We are listening to the voice of the market. Together with experts
and actors from the financial industry want to work out the best solutions through dialogue.

What do we propose? _______

Professional expertise and knowledge within competence centres

LEGAL CENTER
SUSTAINABLE
INVESTMENT AND FINANCE
The centre is composed of members of POLSIF who are specialists in the field of sustainable finance regulation and ESG broadly understood. The center is headed by Advocate. Roksana Kałuzna-Balazy — Member of the Management Board and Vice-President of POLSIF.
As part of the center, among others:
  • we will focus on the practical interpretation of legal regulations to support financial institutions in their effective implementation,
  • we will participate in consultations on new sustainable finance legislation at EU and local level,
  • we will focus on informing the market about the latest legal regulations,
  • we intend to popularize legal knowledge in the field of sustainable finance,
  • we will support other POLSIF centres with legal expertise.

EDUCATIONAL CENTER
SUSTAINABLE
INVESTMENT AND FINANCE
There's a lot going on here. Inspired by and under the direction of the Head of this Center Marlene Janoty.
As part of the center, among others:
  • we establish the programs of two postgraduate studies at ALKi SGH for people from the financial industry. Not some pita pie, but a concrete dose of knowledge for you and everyone working in financial institutions who want to get a solid portion of useful information about sustainable investments and finance,
  • we are working on a series of trainings,
  • we will create a minimum standard for study and training programmes in sustainable investment and finance — so that if you want to be educated in this area, you know what to expect from the organisers of such initiatives. This standard will refer, inter alia, to the competency map.
I refer you to Marlene for details.

Standards Center
SUSTAINABLE
INVESTMENT AND FINANCE
We divided the Standards Centre into two groups, i.e. the centre for banks (leader Joanna Alasa: j.alasa@polsif.org) and the fund market (leader Piotr Dmuchowski: p.dmuchowski@polsif.org).
Of course, these centers work closely with each other.

RESEARCH CENTER
SUSTAINABLE
INVESTMENT AND FINANCE
The work of the Centre shall be coordinated, Robert Sroka, PhD. Preparations are currently underway for a formal launch. So far, we have consulted on a method of data collection consistent for all SIFs so that next year a European report on sustainable investment and finance can be produced. We have also had discussions with some of you about the direction of action. The aim of the Research Center is to conduct such research and analysis that will support business decision-making whether at the level of organizations or sustainable products.
