POLSIF is made up of dozens of representatives of leading investment fund companies, banks, private equity funds, organizations and chambers of industry and the world of science.

Piotr Dmuchowski

Member of the Management Board and Leader of the POLSIF Fund Standards Centre

Piotr Dmuchowski is a graduate of International Finance from the Warsaw School of Economics and Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh with the title of First Class Master of Arts with honours. He also completed postgraduate studies at Cambridge University in Sustainability and a postgraduate course at Oxford University in Private Markets Investment and Stanford University in Fintech.

He gained professional experience related to the financial market at HSBC Polska, where in the period 2008-2022 he worked in many positions in the Global Markets division. In the years 2020-2022, he served as Treasurer of HSBC Poland and coordinated the ESG product offer in the Central and Eastern Europe region and developing countries in the European time zone. During his career at the bank, he participated in the execution of many important transactions, including, first of all, the pioneering issues of Polish bonds in China (Panda bond) and Zielony (the first Green bonds issued by the State in history).

Since 2022, Piotr Dmuchowski has been a Member of the Management Board of TFI PZU in the role of CIO, where he is responsible for investment activities. It covers both the PZU Group's own portfolios and external funds and pension schemes, as well as a wide range of asset classes including real estate, alternative investments and stocks and bonds. Piotr is also involved in the development of investment methodologies and processes and new sustainable investment funds.

Piotr Dmuchowski is also co-founder and Member of the Management Board of Poland Sustainable Investment Forum and Member of the Programme Board of the think tank Institute Reform. In 2023 he also participated in the creation of the report on “Just transition” for insurers created by UNEP FI and published at COP28 and in 2024 in the work of the EFRAG advisory group working on the CSRD sector standard for insurance companies.

Piotr Dmuchowski is also a co-author of scientific publications in the field of Sustainable Finance published in peer-reviewed scientific journals (impact factor>9) and the author of many speeches and publications in trade journals and media on this subject.
