Will AI reduce inflation? Economist points to a new trend in the economy

Rising energy costs, more expensive financing for the “brown” sectors, a greater role of AI and new criteria for assessing customers by banks — according to Jakub Borowski, chief economist at Credit Agricole, the green transformation is already changing the Polish economy. He warns that part of the cost of ESG has already been “built” into inflation and interest rates, and banks are increasingly differentiating financing terms depending on the energy efficiency of companies and properties.
