What is green finance?

📈 The market for green instruments creates interesting opportunities for financing projects related to sustainable development. The trend of sustainable financing is unstoppable and is gaining importance every year.

▪ What is it about green financing? What idea is behind them?
▪ What are green bonds and green credits? Are they different from classic bonds and loans?
▪ Or just green? What other financial instruments can contribute to the transformation of the EU economic model into a sustainable one?
▪ How is the process of obtaining green financing different in practice for a company seeking financing?
▪ Are ESG financings more expensive than traditional instruments?
▪ What type and size of companies are involved in ESG financing methods today?

These questions were answered by Roksana Kałużna-Bałazy, vice president and co-founder of POLSIF, a lawyer advising on sustainable financing processes and ESG regulatory issues in an interview with Anna Grygiel-Tomaszewska, PhD, co-founder and member of the POLSIF Program Board in the ESG (R) evolution program for Business Television
